Tap Cancer Out was also in its infancy. Through the years, my relationship with Jon Thomas, the founder of TOC, has grown through mutual respect and our shared love for the brothers and sisters of the Jiu Jitsu community.
The Arm Sling is a passion project that I've had for a long time. John Danaher first showed me the position and I've developed a system of submissions from this old school judo control technique.
The Arm Sling is a position that renders one of your opponent's limbs immobilized in order for you to attack them from multiple angles. Many of the submissions/transitions came from instructors and friends such as Renzo Gracie, Marcelo Garcia, Matt Serra, Nick Serra, Shawn Williams, Dan Simmler, Vicente Junior and Lucas Lepri. I hope you like the position and can incorporate some of these techniques into your game.
