Allen Mohler earned his Black Belt in 2001 from Romero "Jacare" Cacalcanti. This made him the First American to earn a Black Belt under Team Alliance. In 2008 the North American Grappling Associations awarded him with the Instructor of the year award.   

Volumes 1-3: White to Blue Covers basic drills, reversals, sweeps, escapes, counters and submissions.

Volumes 4-6: Blue to Purple Covers Escapes from north south, knee on belly, half guard, turtle, ,full mount. Also covers open guard passes, basic leg submissions, and basic combinations.

Volume 7: Purple to Brown Advance combinations and guard passes.

Volume 8: Brown to Black Advance transitioning and submissions.
