When reference is made to Sanda, we first talk about a sport: a comprehensive fists-feet boxing that combines feet and fist strikes with grip and throw techniques. Inspired by the traditional techniques of Kung Fu, and originally set up for military use, Sanda is currently one of the two major forms of sports competition in wushu (Chinese martial arts) with Taolus (codified forms).

Olivier MARTY began kung fu in 1991. He participated in the World Cup in 1997 in Taiwan, and in the world championship in 2003 in Macao.
In 2004, he reached the quarter-final of France championship.
Sanda is a combination of the various techniques of Wushu (fists, feet, grips and wrestling) governed by rules that allow different styles of Kung Fu to be expressed in sports.
